The suspect was identified as Renzo Medalle Alferez, alias Renz, 23, of Sitio Little Baguio, Barangay Mambaling, Cebu City. He was nabbed on El Filibusterismo Street, Barangay Emita, Cebu City at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
Police Major Kenneth Albotra, chief of Carbon Police Station, said they conducted the operation after confirming the illegal drug activity of the suspect.
It was learned that the contraband came from Toledo City, midwest Cebu.
The police have already identified the source of illegal drug supply who will be the subject of their follow-up operation.
They refused, however, to reveal the source’s name so as not to hamper their operation. (AYB, TPT)
