A huge cannabis farm has been uncovered by police in Lye.

More than 1,000 cannabis plants were found when officers executed a warrant at a business park on The Hayes at 1.30pm on Saturday, October 17.

Pictures shared by Stourbridge Police on Twitter show rows of plants – at different stages of maturity – growing under artificial lights.

A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis but has since been released without charge.

West Midlands Police said the 1,206 plants have been seized as the investigation continues.

Anyone with information that could assist police is urged to get in touch via the live chat facility at www.west-midlands.police.uk between 8am and midnight.
