Cannabis farm busted in Erdington as cops notice one roof without snowPosted by On

Snow has been falling yet again across Birmingham and the Black Country after the region faced sub-zero temperatures overnight.

The wintry showers were seen in several areas of the city including Sutton Coldfield, Acocks Green, Solihull and Kings Norton this morning, Wednesday, January 6.

Rows of houses in residential streets became frosted with a dusting of white snow – all except for one property in Beech Dene Grove, Erdington.

Drying racks full of cannabis were uncovered

Local police clocked the home when they noticed the snow wasn’t settling on its roof as it was on neighbouring houses.

As they entered the property, they uncovered a cannabis grow along with drying racks packed full of the Class B drug.

An image from the raid showed the dried crops bagged up outside as officers seized the haul.

Birmingham East NTF shared the news to Twitter alongside three pictures of their discovery.

Huge bags of cannabis seized from the property

They wrote: “Thanks to the snow today NTF3 were able to find a cannabis grow in Erdington when officers noticed it wasn’t settling on the properties roof.

“A cannabis grow was found within along with drying racks full of cannabis. Erdington WMP two for two today!”
