A cannabis farm has been discovered at a Worcestershire home following a tip off from members of the public.

The raid was carried out at the home in Birmingham Road, Marlbrook in the Catshill area of Bromsgrove at 9.30am on Wednesday (October 7).

Officers from West Mercia Police ’s Bromsgrove Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out the raid.

The team tweeted: “We have executed a search warrant this morning in the Catshill area of Bromsgrove following information from the local community.

“A large amount of cannabis has been recovered from several rooms. Enquires are ongoing.”

A spokesperson for the team told Worcestershire Live: “We found 16 plants in some of the bedrooms in the property. No arrests have been made but investigations continue.”
