Police recovered the stash after raiding a property in Dalblair Road on Monday.

Officers from South Ayrshire’s Priority Policing Team acted on intelligence to carry out the raid.

Inspector Frank Braddick, locality policing inspector at Ayr said: “Once again this operation demonstrates our commitment to tackle those who deal in drugs in South Ayrshire and in this case was made possible by information provided by the public.

“We will always act on information like this and I would encourage the public to contact us on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where they suspect drug dealing activity is taking place in their community”.

Enquiries are ongoing in relation to ownership of the flat.
