Azimio La Umoja One Kenya coalition party leader Raila Odinga’s call for mass action has had him face off against the National Police Service once more.
On Friday, March 10, the ODM leader’s convoy was temporarily blocked on their way to condole with the family of the late Mama Grace Onyango.
The former premier’s chopper had landed at the Kisumu Yacht Club from his Migori rally and opted to use the Kisumu state lodge diversion.
Raila, who was in the company of Kisumu governor Anyang Nyong’o, National Assembly Minority Leader Opiyo Wandayi and Jubilee Party secretary general Jeremiah Kioni got into an altercation with officers manning the blockade.

Enraged, Raila and his team removed the police barriers on the road before continuing with their journey.
The police erected roadblocks on roads leading to the state house and lodges across the country in the lead-up to the elapse of the deadline issued by Raila.
