McDOUGALL TWP. – Two people were charged with possession of cocaine after a vehicle was stopped by police in McDougall.

On Nov. 12, at approximately 8:45 p.m., members from the West Parry Sound OPP were conducting radar enforcement when they stopped a vehicle they believed was speeding.

Officers seized a quantity of suspected cocaine, methamphetamine, cannabis and a quantity of Canadian currency.

As a result, Jimi Carrine, 40, of Spanish, Ontario was charged with: Have care or control of a vehicle or boat with cannabis readily available; possession property obtained by crime over $5,000; possession of cocaine; two counts of driving while suspended; and, speeding. 

The passenger, Shelly McAllister, 30, of Spanish, was charged with: Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000; two counts of  cocaine possession; and, possession methamphetamine.

Both accused are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound on Dec. 19.
