This week marks a decade since Colorado voters passed Proposition 64 which legalized marijuana. Since then, Denver News 9 reports the state has seen $13.4 billion in marijuana sales that raked in $2.2 billion in tax revenue for the state. The funds have gone towards public schools and the state’s marijuana fund, which is used for healthcare, health education, substance abuse prevention treatment programs, and law enforcement.
