Customs at NAIA foil smuggling of vape cartridges, liquid marijuana
The Bureau of Customs at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and NAIA Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group (NAIA-IADITG) foiled another smuggling attempt involving two parcels of vape cartridges containing liquid marijuana.

The parcels were found at the Central Mail Exchange Center (CMEC) in Pasay City.
Records show that the first parcel was sent by a certain “Tan” from California, USA, and was misdeclared as “cosmetic beauty cream.”
The second parcel was sent by a certain “Travis Arvin” from Oregon, USA, and was misdeclared as “video.”
The BOC-NAIA frontliners inspected the parcels and found 21 pieces of vape cartridges.
