Division of Criminal Investigation agents, Yankton Police Department officers and deputies from the Yankton County's Sheriff's Office seized $100,000 worth of marijuana and marijuana concentrates, according to a press release on Friday.

Division of Criminal Investigation agents and Yankton County law enforcement have arrested a man linked to a marijuana operation valued at $100,000, the South Dakota Office of the Attorney General announced Friday.

David James Brown, 24, is facing charges for possession and distribution of marijuana over 10 pounds, possession and distribution of controlled substance and violation of a drug free zone.

Law enforcement conducted a search warrant at a Gayville residence on Wednesday and seized 22 pounds of marijuana, 751 grams of concentrated marijuana wax, 95 marijuana edible packages, suboxone and $6,250 in cash.

They also seized a Ruger SR-556 rifle and a Glock 48 9mm pistol. The drugs discovered have an estimated street value of over $100,000. Brown was taken into custody after the search warrant was completed.
