Early morning raid uncovers cannabis factory in CoventryPosted by On


A man has been arrested after police raided a cannabis factory in Coventry.

The incident happened in the early hours of yesterday morning after officers were called to reports of suspicious behaviour.

They went to the address, at Camden Street in the Upper Stoke area of the city, just after 4.30am on Saturday morning.

A man fled the scene. Police said they found a cannabis factory at the property and an arrest later took place.

Neighbours reported that a heavy police presence remained outside the property for much of Saturday.

What police said

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: “Police were called to a report of suspicious behaviour at an address on Camden Street in the Stoke area of Coventry just after 4.30am yesterday (Saturday 2 November).

“Officers found a cannabis factory at the property and arrested a man who had fled the scene in a nearby road.”
