HANOVER — A passenger found to be in possession of cocaine and marijuana has led to charges against a Gowanda man.
Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies report that at about 4:38 p.m. Sunday, they stopped a vehicle on Route 5 and 20 in the town for a traffic violation. A passenger in the vehicle, Eugene D. Redeye, 37, was also found to be in possession of concentrated cannabis.
Redeye was issued appearance tickets charging him with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana. He is to be in town of Hanover court at a later date.
