An ‘industrial scale’ cannabis farm of more than 500 plants was found inside an old mill.
Three men have been arrested by police in Rochdale after a raid in Littleborough.
Police chiefs said the seizure meant a ‘large criminal enterprise’ had been disrupted.
The farm was discovered after a warrant was executed at the mill on Clegg Hall Road, in Littleborough, on Wednesday, near Dyehouse Lane.
Three men aged 43, 33 and 49 were later arrested on suspicion of production of a controlled drug and cultivation of cannabis.
Greater Manchester Police said all three were in custody for questioning.
Supt John-Paul Ruffle, from GMP’s Rochdale division, described the operation as on an ‘industrial scale’ and said the raid was executed as part of a pre-planned operation targeting the supply of drugs in Rochdale.
