Indiana authorities are issuing warnings about Halloween candy ahead of the weekend.The issue is that some cannabis-infused products are being sold with packaging that mirrors regular looking candy, according to the Indiana State Police.Officials said on Facebook that troopers recently seized a few examples over the weekend from the Lowell post.”While they are packaged and marketed to look like candy, they are not. You have to look closely to see the ‘medicated’ wording,” officials said on Facebook.The photos show cannabis-infused products with packaging that looks like Skittles or Starbursts. The packaging has the words “medicated” at the top.State police are reminding parents to look through candy this weekend before letting children consume in the event these products get into the mix.
