A massive cannabis farm worth £3.2 million was uncovered at a busy Mildnads industrial estate after it ‘began to affect the local power supply’.

Warwickshire Police raided the gigantic farm in Bayton Road, Exhall, after officers received intelligence that there was cannabis grow located inside the property at around 1pm on Friday, December 4.

A spokesman for the force said officers forced entry and seized a staggering 3,200 plants along with electrical equipment.



Over 3,000 cannabis plants were found at a property in Bayton Road, Exhall.

Detective Sergeant Rav Gill, from the Nuneaton Proactive CID team, said: “While no arrests have been made, investigations are ongoing to identify those responsible and I would urge anyone with information that could help with our enquiries to please get in touch.

“We would also be keen to hear from any local businesses in the area who may have CCTV footage of Bayton Road as this could help us to identify and locate any suspects.

“Warwickshire Police continues to remain committed to identifying and tackling the supply of illegal drugs, so if you have any concerns within your community, please get in touch via the above channels. Always call 999 in an emergency.”

Cops say criminals are using more inventive ways to conceal cannabis grows – not just in rooms, but in the back of shops and even underground.
