Sakaja who has been at loggerheads with Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua over a plan to remove matatus from the CBD to Green Park terminus said he will not turn back.
Speaking on Thursday, January 5, at City Hall during the handing over of the health task force report, the county boss said he will not allow critics to distract and derailed his transformative agenda.

“Change is inevitable, and I want to tell those against it that they must be willing to see these changes, no turning back,” Sakaja said.
The first-time governor laughed off claims by his political nemeses that he found Nairobi in place and should leave it as is.
The governor noted things have changed and the Kenyan capital must be upgraded to a world class city.
