A Medan resident, identified by initials as JE (39), was arrested for receiving the package on Nov 9, Head of the Kualanamu International Airport Customs and Excise Office Elfi Haris said.
This drug caseĀ was uncovered after the Kualanamu customs officials suspected a package sent through mail from China, Haris was quoted by ANTARA as saying here Sunday.
They then decided to send the package containing three 10-Ml bottles of hemp oil to the North Sumatra Customs and Excise’s laboratory facility.
“The laboratory test has revealed that the hemp oil contains Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) or active ingredient in cannabis,” Haris said.
