Open border ‘sooner rather than later’
Pressure is being piled on the Queensland Government to completely open its border with NSW.
Queensland announced it would allow residents from some northern NSW communities to travel back and forth, without having to isolate.
But Margy Osmond, head of the Tourism and Transport Forum, has joined the NSW Premier in saying it’s time to totally open up the border.
“I think there are a huge number of small businesses in Queensland which would very much like a more nuanced view from the Queensland Government on opening the border,” she said.
