The Canadian man with 47 convictions over 32 years was busted with 265 pounds of marijuana tied to him by two ropes, prosecutors say. And now he’s going to federal prison for it — in the United States.

Glen Mousseau, 49, of Windsor, described by prosecutors as a notorious cocaine, meth and marijuana dealer who smuggled cash and drugs into the U.S. using submarines, was sentenced to 71 months in prison Wednesday in U.S. District Court over his foiled scheme last summer.

That’s when federal agents caught him trying to sneak marijuana into the U.S. in the early morning hours of June 5.
