Mick Gatto’s lawyer Patrick Lennon allegedly has jaw broken in CBD assaultPosted by On

Lennon has not provided police, ambulance and hospital reports relating to his injuries to other parties or the court.

Lennon is appealing the Magistrates’ Court costs order in favour of the Victorian Legal Services Board and Commissioner.

Morrish agreed to list the costs appeal for a final hearing in December.

Lennon is separately facing possession and drug trafficking charges in the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.

He was allegedly found with 11 grams of methamphetamine and almost $6000 cash inside a leather shoulder bag during a random car intercept in South Yarra in 2020. He plans to contest the charges at a two-day hearing in May.

Lennon has previously been accused of pressuring a witness in a County Court commercial dispute involving a finance company owned by his wife and of threatening the man’s mother in profane text messages.

The lawyer has admitted to sending the texts to lawyer James Podaridis, but denied it was an attempt to intimidate a witness or influence evidence presented in court.

“U at ur mums fat c—?” Lennon asked Podaridis during the Friday night exchange revealed in court.

“U will probably leave her alone like the fat weak c— u r,” Lennon said in a text message, adding: “C u in 15 – be there.”

Lennon Lawyers specialises in commercial law, family law and personal injury law, while Lennon offers “expertise in public liability insurance work, professional indemnity litigation and debt recovery”, according to the firm’s website.
