Four Leamington residents face criminal charges after OPP seized hundreds of cannabis plants and processed cannabis from two locations in the municipality last week.

On Sept. 22, officers executed search warrants in the 500 block of Mersea Road 3 and the 1500 block of Mersea Road 6. Police seized 500 cannabis plants and a quantity of processed cannabis, police said in a news release on Monday.

Four individuals were arrested and released from custody with a future court date. All four are charged with cultivating, propagating, or harvesting any cannabis plant at a place that is not their dwelling house.

The charged individuals are Daniel Tiessen, 52, Deon Campbell, 42,  Yuli Cardenas-Bartolon, 37, and Olga Larios-Mendoza, 47, all of Leamington.
