Four drug suspects yielded a total of P4,108,000 of alleged marijuana in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Fairview Station (PS 5) in Barangay Greater Fairview, Novaliches in Quezon City on Wednesday, Oct. 5.

Lt. Col. Elizabeth Jasmin, PS 5 commander, identified the drug personalities as Mihingold Guina, 23, resident of San Pedro, Laguna City; and Daryl Louie Borgonia, 31, a resident of Barangay San Roque in Marikina City.

Their cohorts were identified as Miriam Doctor, 23, a resident of Barangay San Roque in Marikina City, and Fernando Mendoza, 25, a resident of Barangay San Agustin in Novaliches, Quezon City.

PS 5 operatives conducted a buy-bust operation after they received a report from an informant regarding Mendoza’s illegal drug activities.

Based on initial reports, a policeman posed as a buyer and bought P25,000 worth of high-grade marijuana from Mendoza which led to his arrest.

Police arrested Guina, Borgonia, and Doctor after Mendoza identified them as the suppliers of marijuana.

The suspects were collared at 7:40 p.m. along Valiant Street Barangay Greater Fairview.

Seized from the suspects were more or less 3,160 grams of high-grade marijuana worth P4,108,000, a cellular phone, a Honda City vehicle, and the buy-bust money.

The suspects will be charged for violation of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
