CITY OF SAN FERNANDO Nearly P10-million worth of suspected marijuana were seized during an anti-illegal drug operation launched in Bulacan on Sunday.

Brigadier General Cesar Pasiwen, regional police chief, said the suspected illegal drugs were recovered from two suspects.

They were identified as Mark Lambert Guinto of Meycauayan, Bulacan, and Angelo Llgas of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.

Eighty-one pieces of alleged dried marijuana leaves with fruiting tops placed inside three pieces of sack weighing 81 kilograms with a DDB value of P9,720,000 and P5,000 marked money were confiscated from the suspect.

Appropriate charges for violation of Sec. 5 and Sec. 11, Art II of RA 9165 are being readied against the suspects for court referral.
