Two men will stand trial after police uncovered a cannabis farm worth more than £200,000.
Officers raided an address at the start of 2020 as they executed a warrant in York Street, Rugby, on the back of information provided by the community.
As we reported in our Coventry newsletter, officers from Warwickshire Police arrested two men and subsequently charged Phuoc Huu Nguyen, 20, and 22-year-old Em Nguyen, both of no fixed address, with producing cannabis.
Both men entered not guilty pleas at a previous hearing and then appeared once more at Warwick Crown Court today (Wednesday) for a pre-trial hearing.
A trial date has now been set for February 1, 2021, and it will take place at Warwick Crown Court.
The pair were remanded in custody until that date.
