Police discovered around 2,000 cannabis plants in a building after responding to reports of a break-in on Christmas Day.
The cannabis factory was found in a building in Sandringham Park, Llansamlet, at around 7am on December 25.
Officers from South Wales Police had initially been responding to reports of youths in the building when they came across what they described as a “significant” cannabis factory.
The cannabis plants were being kept in a building off a car park in Sandringham Park and it is believed that around 10 people were involved.

South Wales Police said enquiries into the discovery are ongoing.
Detective Inspector David Wells said: “This was a sophisticated cannabis factory and we believe around 10 people were involved in its daily upkeep.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish those responsible.”

He added: “This factory was in a building off a car park which is used regularly and I would therefore urge anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area or who has any information to please contact us.
