Police have revealed they hit the ‘jackpot’ after raiding a cannabis farm worth £2.5 million.
Officers in the Heath Town and East Park area of Wolverhampton unearthed a huge haul of 2,749 cannabis plants in an industrial unit.
Following the raid on July 6, the team initially believed the stash was worth £500,000 – but it turns out it was worth five times as much.
A video of the police operation shows the moment police stormed the lock-up, as you can see above .
With the help of the tactical support team police stormed the building, using power tools to break open the shutters.
Once inside, the team discovered a fully functioning cannabis farm decked out with specialist lighting and equipment.
