One of the world’s most recognisable beauty brands has opened its second store, with more than 700 people lining up from as early as 3.30am to get a first look at Sephora’s CBD outlet.
The new store boasts a whole new concept layout, stocking brands only available at Sephora such as Fenty Beauty by Rhianna, Selena Gomez’s brand Rare Beauty, Kim Kardashian’s makeup artists line Makeup by Mario, and GXVE BY Gwen Stefani.
Ahead of the opening, a select few of Perth VIPs gathered for a special event where beauty influencer Dominic Porra made an appearance.
He said the Perth beauty community had been “longing for another Sephora store”.
“It means there is more accessibility for people who are beauty obsessed in Perth.”
Sephora Australia general manager Mark O’Keefe said it had been a long-term plan to open a store in the city.
“We started talking about this building in 2018 and we couldn’t be more excited,” he said.
“The Karrinyup store exceeded our expectations so we have massive hopes for this one.”
Perth Lord Mayor Basil Zempilas said the opening of Sephora was a huge vote of confidence in Perth’s city centre.
