Soon, you might see a Sewickley store owner selling CBD edibles in a new mobile truck on the streets of Pittsburgh and beyond.The owner said she’s not trying to get people high — she’s trying to help people elevate certain moods or help with sleep, pain or anxiety.Moodporium owner Holly Teegarden works with a Pittsburgh baker to create a special recipe blend for cookies, brownies and pastries without THC, the component of marijuana that makes people feel high.”They don’t have THC in them,” Teegarden said. “So, again, they don’t have that stigma, but you get to feel those moods.”Teegarden’s passion for these products stemmed from personal experiences, including an anxiety disorder. “I was on prescription drugs for years,” she said. “I researched the heck out of products that could help me. I started to test them out and they worked. It changed my life.”Teegarden said her customer testimonials show she’s helping others, too.”So, they no longer drink because of what I sell,” she said. “They are off sleep medication, they’re off opioids. So, it’s really more like a lifestyle than the typical ‘getting high,’ so to speak.”Teegarden said customers come in for themselves and family members.”I have moms coming in here with little kids,” she said. “I have a child on the spectrum so there are so many moms with children on the spectrum that are using CBD to help with anger management, with sleep, with the anxiety.”Her mobile trailer is set to hit the streets of Pittsburgh…
