Six people from the GTA have been charged after a cannabis farm owner on Windham Road 19 in Norfolk County called 911 to report a break and enter in progress.

The call was made at around 2:05 a.m. on Monday.

Police say six people forcibly entered the farm. They attempted to enter a barn on the property but fled after realizing the police had been called.

County of Brant OPP located the vehicle on Highway 403 and used a spike belt to stop the vehicle. As a result,  several people were taken into custody.

A 45-year-old Toronto man was charged with break and enter, disguise with intent, possession of break-in instruments, and dangerous operation of a vehicle.

Four other men – a 24-year-old of Toronto, 33-year-old of Mississauga, 34-year-old of North York, and 46-year-old of Brampton — were each charged…
