Thirteen teenagers were rushed to hospital when they became unwell after eating “sweets” containing cannabis at a school in north London.

Police confirmed on Monday evening that THC, a chemical which is the active component in cannabis, had been found in what the children “believed to be sweets” at La Sainte Union Catholic School in Highgate.
