Three homes concealing cannabis farms were destroyed by fire in 11 days of drama across Birmingham.
Police uncovered the illicit crops inside the properties in Yardley, Great Barr and Selly Oak after all three went up in flames in separate incidents.
The most recent blaze saw major commuter route Bristol Road temporarily blocked off as the inferno spread to three flats, with some residents needing to be rehoused.
Fortunately, no one was injured in any of the fires but police investigations are now underway after plants were found at the addresses.
Bryn Arden Road, Yardley
The first incident took place in a residential road in Yardley, where £10,000 worth of destroyed cannabis was found.
The haul of around ten plants was discovered as officers attended a house fire in Bryn Arden Road the afternoon of Sunday, November 29.
The force was alerted by firefighters just after 1.40pm.
Officers said they also found growing equipment alongside the burned plants inside the loft space.
A dramatic image showed thick plumes of smoke billowing from the roof of the semi-detached property as fire crews brought the flames under control.
