Hundreds of cannabis plants have been found during a drugs bust by police in Preston.
Officers from Preston Neighbourhood Police Team executed a drugs warrant at a large commercial building in the St Matthews area of the city.
They were forced to cut through a roller shutter to get into the unit which was surrounded by razor wire.
Inside they found a ‘large cannabis factory’ with the unit especially adapted for the cultivation and distribution of cannabis.
Two men were arrested after they were found hiding in a loft space and have since been charged with cannabis cultivation.
The raid was carried out on Wednesday (September 2) and both men were remanded to appear at Preston Magistrates Court this morning (September 3).
