Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest After Police Find More than 300 GraPosted by On

SALISBURY, Md. — Maryland State police say they arrested a man after they pulled him over and found more than 300 grams of marijuana in the car. 

According to MDSP, troopers pulled over Gregory Dornell Snead Jr, 30, of Salisbury, in the area of E College Lane and Margaret St. in Wicomico County. While speaking to the driver, police say they detected an “overwhelming odor of Marijuana” from within the vehicle. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted. 

During the search of the vehicle, several individual baggies of Marijuana were located within a book bag. The total amount of Marijuana located within the vehicle and on Snead’s person was 301.3 grams.  A search warrant
was obtained and executed on Snead’s residence. Within the residence, more than 12 pounds of
Marijuana was seized, along with a 40 caliber semi-automatic pistol.
