UW-Platteville Expands Agricultural Cannabis Degree Program

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville Continuing Education Institute is expanding its cannabis-related certificates to include an Agriculture and Horticulture Certificate program.
As part of the new changes, students will learn how to care for cannabis plants, study cannabis botany and genetics, and explore plant growth techniques during the innovative six-month certificate program. The certificate is offered in partnership with Green
Flower, a national leader in cannabis education.
“The Cannabis Agriculture and Horticulture Certificate ensures graduates of the program will be perfectly positioned to take advantage of a growing industry in need of qualified, skilled employees,” said Continuing Education Institute Director Kerie Wedige.
