CHATHAM — A Massena man and woman face felony charges after state police allegedly seized more than 200 pounds of marijuana from them during a traffic stop Friday.

Corey W. Heald, 29, and Kelly L. Heald, 51, were both charged with felony first-degree criminal possession of marijuana.

Police stopped their vehicle at 10 a.m. on the state thruway for a traffic violation and allegedly found the marijuana after a subsequent K9 detection and search.

Both Mr. and Ms. Heald were arraigned in Livingston Town Court and remanded to the Columbia County Jail without bail.
