YEREVAN, June 17. /ARKA/. Acting on a tip from an informant Armenian State Revenue Committee (SRC) officers detained a citizen who was trying to smuggle in 1.4 kg of marijuana.
The citizen identified by the SRC as A.S. was detained upon arrival from Valencia, Spain at Zvartnots airport in the capital Yerevan.
After searching his baggage SRC officers found 3 packages of marijuana with a total weight of 1 kg 400 grams hidden in three cardboard boxes of sweets.
The drugs, as well as other personal things of the detained citizens were handed over to the Investigative Committee for further investigation.-0-
