WORCESTER — Worcester-raised Alex Mazin plans to open Bud’s Goods & Provisions — an adult-use marijuana dispensary — on West Boylston Street next week.
The cannabis dispensary at 64 West Boylston St. will open Oct. 30, with a grand opening planned on Halloween. The shop will be open for online order pickup only for the first seven days.
Mazin, a Doherty Memorial High School graduate, renovated the building at West Boylston Street and Ruthven Avenue. Bud’s Goods said the shop is much different than other “sterile” dispensaries. Mazin wanted to elevate the retail experience with cheeky marquee signage, branded floor tile and Worcester artifacts in every nook, Bud’s Goods said in a release.
