COLDWATER — The Coldwater Planning Commission will hold off Monday night tackling its most controversial ordinance rewrite, allowed animals, as it begins its rewrite of zoning ordinances.
It will review a request for the city’s first recreational adult marijuana license at 734 E. Chicago St. next to the Chinese buffet at Willowbrook and U.S. 12 in the C-4 district in the 5:30 p.m. virtual meeting.
Monday it will take up what was discussed in October, including streamlining the process for applicants to get decisions for site plans.
Site plans would be approved by the staff Plan Review committee made up of department heads and experts on the staff such as building inspector, fire marshall, and planner.
Walrack said it would automatically be approved by the committee if complies with all ordinances and meets all building codes.
Site plans would go to the Planning Commission only if waivers from the standards or does not comply.
