Mary Felzkowski said.”As we get to the end of the session, we do this with bills. You throw the bill out and it starts a discussion,” Republican state Rep. Todd Novak said.Democratic state Sen. Melissa Agard said she does agree this bill can at least serve as a spark.”If we can celebrate a win, I think that’s a good thing for us to focus on,” Agard said.Under the bill, patients would not be allowed to smoke their prescription.Instead, it would have to be in the form of a liquid, oil or edible. Both Assembly Speaker Robin Vos and Gov. Tony Evers have expressed support of legalizing medical marijuana.
