DENVER–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Leading Colorado dispensary operator Green Dragon has expanded its Cherry Creek location, with increased tourism and the upscale lifestyle of the neighborhood in mind. The location is now split, with one side catering to medicinal patients, and the other open to recreational consumers. The recreational space offers a boutique experience, with premium items including hand-blown glass, candles, perfumes, apparel and even cookbooks—items not typically found in Green Dragon stores.
“Cherry Creek is a vibrant, growing cultural center with high-end fashion boutiques and eclectic eateries, so we knew we wanted to provide different offerings and a unique experience,” Alex Levine, Co-Founder & Chief Development Officer of Green Dragon said. “After opening the store this past summer, we focused on sales trends and consumer profiles—ultimately allowing our customers to show us what they prefer to see and shop for in this neighborhood.”
Having initially opened its doors in June 2020, the team was able to execute the Cherry Creek store expansion after a hair salon moved down the street, allowing Green Dragon to utilize 1,500 additional square feet and add a storefront on Saint Paul Street. The interior of the new space is bright and welcoming with refinished wood floors, new lighting and paint—giving a clean and sleek, high-end appearance.
For more than 10 years, the Green Dragon approach has remained consistent. Just as a high-end fashion store services its clientele, Green Dragon focuses on creating an ideal customer experience, in a relaxing, fun atmosphere with no high-pressure sales.
The Cherry Creek location, formerly Caregivers for Life, is located at 310 Saint Paul Street, and is the only dispensary serving both recreational customers and medical patients in the upscale shopping and residential district of Denver.
With a total of 15 store locations and more than one million customers in 2019 alone, Green Dragon is rapidly becoming one of the most recognized dispensary groups in Colorado, with national expansion on the horizon.
Beyond its Colorado expansion, Green Dragon’s parent company recently acquired a Florida medical marijuana treatment center (MMTC) license and is building out its Florida operations.
