Recreational marijuana has been legal in California since 2016.For people who partake in all things marijuana, cannabis and THC, Green Wednesday provides an opportunity to shop for their favorite products with big discounts and sales. “Green Wednesday’s a big day for us to give back to the community,” Jared Elarmo, the general manager of Perfect Union in Sacramento, said. “When we have these opportunities to be able to make these sales and give back to the community, we know the taxing and regulations have put a lot of hurt on the medical community, so for us to be able to give back in these opportunities is really big for us.”Perfect Union is offering customers discounts of up to 50 percent until 9 p.m. Wednesday night.Customers tell KCRA 3 they were really excited about steep sales on edibles, flower, tree, tinctures, and other items, especially before the Thanksgiving holiday.”I’m looking for their gummies,” shopper Lala said. “I know they have gummies on sale.
