GARBERVILLE, Calif. (AP) – Humboldt County’s marijuana enforcement team shut down a large illegal grow and seized firearms this week, the Sheriff’s Office said.

A warrant served Wednesday on three parcels east of Garberville led to eradication of 11,000 growing cannabis plants, destruction of more than 4,700 pounds (2,132 kilograms) of processed cannabis and more than 1,100 pounds (499 kilograms) of scraps known as shake.
