A man carrying a loaded gun in the waistband of his pants in Sydney’s CBD on Monday has been charged with firearm and drug offences.
At about 1.20pm, police stopped the man after he left a licensed venue on George Street.
Upon conducting a search, officers found a loaded Glock 19 pistol with under barrel laser sight inside the mans pants.
A further search located what police allege was about 3.3 grams of heroin, 6.6 grams of methylamphetamine and $2100 worth of cash.
The man was taken to Day Street Police Station and charged with eight offences including having an unregistered pistol in a public place, a loaded firearm in a public place as well as three counts of drug supply.
He was refused bail and set for court later today.
