Accidental gunfire: At about 8:38 a.m. near the 2200 block of SW 332nd Street, a woman called 911 stating she heard a gunshot in the area. Upon reviewing her surveillance camera footage, she discovered a gunshot from inside a nearby location was recorded. Officers responded and made contact with the residence. There were no reported injuries or victims, but the person responsible for the incident admitted to accidentally discharging a rifle she located under her living room sofa. The woman consented to a search, where officers found a rifle and a handgun. Both firearms were booked into evidence.

Not so Happy: At about 11:23 a.m. near the 32105 book of 1st Avenue South, a customer at the Happy Kids Dentistry got into a verbal argument with the owner/dentist. The customer pulled two framed pictures off of the wall, causing them to shatter on the floor. The customer then damaged the entry door on her way out. The dentist did not wish to prosecute.

Stabbed during phone robbery: At about 3 p.m. near the 33200 block of Pacific Highway South, a victim was stabbed by a suspect as the suspect stole the victim’s phone. The victim was dropped off at a hospital by a witness. The victim refused to cooperate with police and medical staff for fear of gang retaliation.
