A new police operations centre based in the Perth CBD bringing together staff from multiple agencies has been called world-leading as it opened for work on Thursday.
But Police Commissioner Col Blanch rejected criticism from staff to the move from the previous Maylands and Midland facilities had seen them lose access to safe parking and other facilities.
