St. Cloud approves THC/CBD licensing in the city, including Jules BistroPosted by On

ST. CLOUD ― On Monday night the St. Cloud City Council unanimously approved cannabinoid licensing for nine businesses in St. Cloud, pending additional reviews.

Among the licensees is Jules Bistro, which is the only restaurant in St. Cloud that has applied for a license thus far.

Owner Donella Westphal said once reviews are complete from the city they will begin selling THC-infused drinks, which is a product customers have asked for.

“We are moving into the arena very slowly, and I don’t see it being a significant part of our business,” Westphal said. “But we take beverages very seriously, and we offer a comprehensive beverage menu, filled with everything from tap kombucha to espresso drinks and so this will just be one more item in that list of comprehensive beverages that we can make available to our guests.”

Westphal said Jules Bistro is “always out front doing the next thing” and said she would imagine more restaurants will follow their lead as the first licenses get approved.
