On Wednesday at 3:28 pm, the Transportation Security Administration alerted the Allegheny County Police Department about an incident at Pittsburgh International Airport. A firearm and a significant quantity of marijuana were discovered in the checked luggage of a passenger during a routine inspection. The passenger, identified as 28-year-old Stephon Wilson from Houston, Texas, was found to lack a valid concealed carry permit or a medical marijuana card.

Following the discovery, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Drug Enforcement Administration were notified, and the County Police confiscated both the gun and the narcotics. Stephon Wilson is now facing various charges, including carrying a firearm without a license – a felony count, as well as misdemeanor charges for possession of marijuana and mushrooms. He is scheduled to be transferred to Allegheny County Jail awaiting a preliminary arraignment.
