Curated Cannabis has some of the prettiest looking weed you’ll see in California, and for this week’s edition of the Garden Glance, we’re taking a look at how all that fantastic pot makes its way into jars. 

One of the interesting things about Curated Cannabis is they work with cultivators right at the moment of harvest and take over from there. As opposed to other companies who might wait for a final product, they have a lot more hands-on role in those final make-or-break moments. A lot of great pot is ruined after it’s chopped down during drying and curing. Executing either of the two incorrectly will prevent the cannabis from reaching its full potential. 

For this run, we’ll be looking at the garden of their cultivation partners at Desert Horizon.

We think the flower is most perfect at harvest when it’s in full bloom. We only process flower that is ‘true-to-form’,” Will Sun, Curated Cannabis CEO, told L.A. Weekly. “Your strain profiles are really helpful, especially when we don’t know the breeder. Everybody has preferences – whether you like Jacks or OGs is a personal preference. We want to make sure you’re getting the best representation of those genetics. The flower goes from harvest to jar and the pistils still look alive. The terpene profile and aroma is also preserved from harvest.”
