Thousands raised after kickboxer champ killed with crossbow outside Brierley Hill cannabis farmPosted by On

Thousands of pounds has been raised in the name of world champion kickboxer Khuzaimah “Zaymi” Douglas, who was brutally killed outside a Black Country cannabis factory.

The money, gathered by the teenager’s gym – Tyseley’s USKA fight factory – has been used to help the homeless in Birmingham and provide solar water pumps in a desert area of Pakistan.

Mr Douglas was pinned down in the street and shot by a bolt at point-blank range during trouble outside the Brierley Hill hash farm.

It was a violent warning to others intent on plundering the £225,000 drugs haul.

Saghawat, aged 47, hit his own brother Waseem. The trio bundled him into the back of a car and drove to hospital, but the 36-year-old was beyond saving.

This week, at Wolverhampton Crown Court, Saghawat was found guilty of murdering Mr Douglas and Waseem.

Omar, aged 25, and Sageer, 33, were convicted of the kickboxer’s murder and the manslaughter of Waseem.

His last moments were captured on grainy CCTV footage. The 19-year-old was held down before Saghawat calmly loaded the crossbow.
