Pittsville Café is now Paulie’s Diner

The former Pittsville Café is now Paulie's Diner at 5355 Second Ave. in Pittsville.

Paulie’s Diner opened Nov. 1 at 5355 Second Ave. in Pittsville.

On Oct. 18, Pittsville Café’s owners announced on Facebook they had the opportunity to sell and accepted an offer from Sarah Jo and Paulie Peters. Since opening, the couple has offered a variety of waffle, pancake and omelet specials, sandwiches and burgers, and a Friday fish fry, including cod or shrimp.

Paulie’s Diner is open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. For more information or to see featured specials, find Paulie’s Diner on Facebook.

White Sands Ice Cream & Mini Golf has new operators

White Sands Mini Golf, 5511 Wazeecha Ave. in Grand Rapids. The mini golf course and concession stand operates across the street from Lake Wazeecha, about two miles east of Wisconsin Rapids.

Cara and David Johnson are the new operators of White Sands Ice Cream & Mini Golf.

The couple announced Nov. 3 they were excited to take the baton and move forward with White Sands. The couple grew up in Wisconsin Rapids and moved back about three years…
